Job summary

Slocum-Dickson Medical Group in New York seeks a desktop & hardware technician to deploy, configure and manage desktops, printers, phones and related equipment. You will provide frontline support, document issues, and work with SDMG staff to ensure timely resolutions.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, maintaining equipment inventory, and assisting with procedures for logging and reporting PC performance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2+ years related IT experience.
• Certifications: A+, Network+, MCP preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid New York State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support to users via phone, email or in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Document all issues in a ticketing system for tracking.
• Configure and install desktops, printers, scanners, and telephony equipment.
• Assist in maintaining equipment inventory and documentation.
• Occasionally work evenings and weekends; no regular travel.
• Attend OSHA training as required.
