Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking qualified candidates for a Desktop Support role in Brook Park, OH. This first-shift, onsite position supports a local enterprise IT department and offers a contract-to-hire path. Prior Helpdesk/Desktops experience and IT certifications are desirable.

Expect to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, deploy Windows, re-image machines, and provide top-tier user support. Benefits and eligibility apply based on role and tenure.

Qualifications

• Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support or PC Technician experience preferred.
• IT certifications desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents incl. Windows and Mac OS.
• Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11.
• Re-image Windows 11 from Windows 10.
• Assist users with IT incidents and carry out problem analysis.
• Record and document requests in the service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment.
• Resolve incidents and upgrade software/hardware.
• Troubleshoot printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
