Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in the United States is seeking an entry-level IT support professional to provide end-user desktop support under supervision. You will assist with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop systems and network-related technologies while supporting users across the organization.

This role offers a path to develop technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

High school-level knowledge of computer hardware and software.
High school degree, technical certifications, or equivalent work experience.
A+ Certification or other technology certifications a plus.
Hardware/software installation skills.
Hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
Basic understanding of software monitoring tools.
Understanding backup procedures.
Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to travel less than 25%.

Responsibilities

Resolve end users' desktop issues including hardware, printers, software/hardware peripherals.
Provide support and setup at trade shows with occasional travel.
Monitor IT infrastructure for failures and performance using monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot IT infrastructure across hardware, software, telecom, business applications, and connectivity.
Install and configure desktop systems and workstations.
Support end users with technical issues under supervision.
Assist with network-related troubleshooting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
