Job summary

NTT DATA in Juncos, Puerto Rico, seeks a Desktop Support Technician to handle IMAC, break-fix, desk-side support, and related IT services for a strategic client. You will perform advanced configuration and repair of desktop/notebook equipment and IP phones, with emphasis on delivering high customer service.

Responsibilities include solving user problems, maintaining PCs/servers, preventive maintenance, and evaluating configurations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of desktop experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.
• Understanding of fundamentals of network and server/desktop administration.

Responsibilities

• Assists users in solving problems using available hardware and software tools.
• Supports, installs, and maintains PCs, LANs, server hardware, operating systems, software and peripherals.
• Performs preventive maintenance, tests and repairs of equipment.
• Evaluates system configurations and software to ensure effective hardware resource use.
