Job summary

Bell Techlogix in Hampton, VA is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to install, repair, and maintain computer hardware and software. You will provide Tier 1 (and possibly Tier 2) support, engage with customers, and ensure timely ticket updates in the ITSM system.

Responsibilities include problem escalation, adherence to client policies, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction. Travel to client sites may be required; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of technical or related experience preferred.
• US Citizenship required due to federal government contract requirements
• Experience with multiple Windows OS versions and MS Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and software.
• Primarily provides Tier 1 support; may provide Tier 2 support as needed.
• Escalates issues to higher support levels to protect customer satisfaction.
• Maintains and updates work orders in the client’s ITSM system.
• Travel to Bell Techlogix or client sites; overnight stays as needed.
