A leading company is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide support for end-user computing hardware and software in Beaverton, Oregon. The role involves managing device lifecycles, resolving hardware and software issues, and requires authorization to work in the US without sponsorship. Support End User Computing hardware and software (Windows), including laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets, printers, RFID guns, MS Office, Remote Access, Video Conferencing (Poly, Cisco), and VDI. Document, track, and monitor incidents and problems using ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar ticketing systems. Create KB articles or SOPs as needed. Support hardware, peripherals, enterprise software, reimaging, data migration, break-fix, international travel support, device backup and restore, mobility, email, IMac (installations, moves, changes), and ad-hoc user support. Use tools like ARS, Active Directory, SCCM, JAMF, Nexthink for first contact resolution. Manage the full lifecycle of end-user devices, including provisioning, monitoring, remote management, re-imaging, de-provisioning, and retiring.
Applications accepted until June 15, 2025. Salary ranges from $40,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
