Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Athens, Georgia. The role involves troubleshooting, deployment, and repair of desktops, notebooks, and printers, with emphasis on Windows environments. Travel may be required, and a high school diploma is required with an undergraduate degree preferred.

Significant hands-on problem solving is expected. The candidate should have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong customer service skills, and an A+ certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
• Solid client service skills.
• Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops/notebooks/printers.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Undergraduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops/notebooks/printers.
• Identify issues affecting end-user experience and take corrective action.
• Escalate as needed and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
