Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support our DOJ OJP customer. This role involves site surveys, documenting network configurations, designing topologies, and preparing hardware specifications.

You will install and configure workstations, laptops, printers, and related peripherals across two locations. Responsibilities include Tier 2 support, OS and software deployment, and coordination with network/server teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and DOJ OJP background check requirement.
• Minimum 2 years in laptop hardware and software installation/configuration.
• Experience installing/configuring Windows 11.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive.
• Experience with Copilot Chat or AI tools.
• Experience with MDM tools.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Remedy or equivalent ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage laptop hardware and software.
• Deploy, configure, and manage local and network printers.
• Provide Tier 2 support for in-scope software through the Service Desk.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Perform OS installations, updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Configure Microsoft Windows and common productivity apps.
• Support workstation imaging, deployment, and inventory management.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes and equipment setup.
• Provide laptop and peripheral break/fix support through the Service Desk.
