Job summary

Inserso is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support our DOJ OJP customer. You will deploy, configure, and manage laptop hardware, printers, and software at two locations, providing Tier 2 support and hardware troubleshooting.

You will work with Windows 11, Office 365, OneDrive, Copilot AI and MDM tools, coordinating with network/server teams as needed, and participate in onboarding/offboarding activities. This role requires US citizenship and background clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a DOJ OJP T2 Public Trust background check.
• At least 2 years of experience providing laptop hardware and software installation/configuration support.
• Experience installing/configuring Windows 11.
• Experience with Microsoft Office O365 and OneDrive.
• Experience with Copilot Chat or AI tools.
• Experience with MDM tools.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Remedy or equivalent ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage laptop hardware and software.
• Deploy configure and manage local and network printers.
• Provide Tier 2 support for in-scope software via the Service Desk.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Perform OS installations, updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Configure Windows and Office applications.
• Support workstation imaging, deployment, and inventory.
• Support Apple products, iPhone/iPads.
• Coordinate with network/server teams for escalation.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes and equipment setup.
