Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Level 2 IT Support Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software for 1000 users in a Windows environment with 15% Macintosh. Based out of the Durham, NC Distribution Center, you will handle escalations, deploy devices, and support new hires.

Some travel to retail stores (up to 20%) is required for this contract-to-hire role. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting, customer service, and attention to detail, plus expertise with Intune, IAM,

Qualifications

Experience supporting Windows environments and Macs in a corporate setting.
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and device imaging/deployment.
Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to retail stores; 20% travel stated.

Responsibilities

Receive and process help desk requests for employees and stores.
Diagnose, repair, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Escalate to Network Administration as needed.
Maintain hardware, software, and network equipment; perform updates and backups.
Install and configure hardware/software; support new tech testing and rollout.
Manage new hire setup: equipment, email, software; support orientations.
