Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Supervisor to join our DoW enterprise IT team in Virginia Beach. This role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance and 3+ years of desktop experience, with the ability to support 24x7 operations and travel as needed.

You will lead Tier 2 systems administration efforts, coordinate with enterprise teams, and manage on-premise hardware, updates, and security controls to keep DoW networks running securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in IT support or desktop administration.
• US Citizenship required.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance either possessed or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop support and maintenance for DoW environments.
• Manage Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange services.
• Support information security and file shares across enterprise components.
• Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of laptops, desktops, and Zero Clients.
• Deliver Tier 1 & 2 technical support to users across DoW networks.
• Implement system management tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).
• Create and maintain lifecycle documentation for systems and hardware.
