Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our intelligence customer in Dayton, OH. The role maintains Windows/Linux servers, performs 1st-3rd line support, and ensures secure, up-to-date systems per STIG guidelines.

Requires TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 Level II; Security+ or higher; 5+ years of related experience; ability to travel and work on-site at customer locations. The position is full-time with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire.
• TS/SCI Clearance required with eligibility to obtain CI Poly
• RHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administration experience
• Experience with trouble ticket reporting and tracking systems such as Service+

Responsibilities

• Systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and management of system infrastructure and processes.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Install hardware, server hardware, and network connections; manage OS deployment with tools.
• Troubleshoot, maintain security and integrity; apply STIGs and patches.
