Job summary

Ovation Workplace Services Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver frontline and second-line technical assistance across local and remote environments. The role focuses on hardware and software troubleshooting, incident logging, and escalation to maintain SLAs across all shifts.

Responsibilities include Windows 10/11 and Office 365 support, macOS basics, and AV/enterprise app support. Strong communication, multitasking, and a customer‑facing mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 18+ months of hands-on desktop support or IT support experience.
• Certifications preferred (CompTIA A+ or MCP/M365)

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for hardware, software, and applications.
• Document incidents and requests in the IT ticketing system.
• Configure Windows OS (Win10/Win11) and Office 365.
• Support macOS on a limited basis and enterprise apps.
• Install and troubleshoot printers and peripherals.
• Assist with IT security, antivirus, and encryption tools.
• Coordinate with vendors for AV issues as needed.
• Maintain SLAs and communicate status to users.
