Job summary

City of Lincoln is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver first- and second-level IT support across local and remote environments. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, document incidents in the ticketing system, and assist with Windows 10/11 and Office 365.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires clear communication, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to SLAs while supporting users across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 18 months of hands-on desktop support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for end users.
• Document incidents and requests in the IT ticketing system.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Office 365.
• Support macOS as needed and assist with peripheral devices.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex AV issues.
