Job summary

City of Lincoln in Tolleson, AZ seeks a Desktop Support Technician to provide first- and second-level IT support across local and remote environments. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, document incidents, and assist with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Apple devices as needed.

The role requires collaboration with IT to resolve issues, maintain SLAs, and communicate status updates. Travel to multiple sites may be involved; evenings/weekends work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in information technology or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 18 months of hands-on desktop support or IT help desk experience.
• Experience supporting Windows environments (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for hardware, software, and applications via phone, remote tools, and on-site.
• Log, track, and document incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Office 365; support macOS as needed.
• Support enterprise apps like Cisco Jabber and other approved software.
• Maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices; perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Escalate and coordinate with vendors for complex AV issues; meet SLAs.
• Support mobile device management (MDM) for iOS/Android devices.
