Job summary

ImOn Communications, LLC, located in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist I or II to join our Information Technology team. This full-time role focuses on front-line user support, hardware and software installation, and asset management delivered from our corporate office.

You'll handle help desk tickets, perform basic imaging and deployment, assist with onboarding, and collaborate with teammates to keep families and businesses connected with reliable service.

Qualifications

• Level I requires high school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years IT experience.
• Level II requires Level I plus 3+ years hands-on IT support.
• Strong problem-solving and hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Windows 10/11; macOS is a plus.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and PowerShell preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Help Desk tickets and resolve routine IT issues.
• Assist with device imaging, deployment, and onboarding.
• Support printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Manage access and permissions per security requirements.
• Provide on-site support and travel to satellite offices as needed.
