Job summary

Empath Health in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support and maintain desktop and mobile device systems for colleagues across the organization.

You will install software, configure settings, troubleshoot hardware/software, and handle on-call rotations, including travel between facilities as needed. Must live locally and be able to work on-site; strong IT background and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related field with 3+ years of end-user IT support.
• Microsoft Certification on Office Applications, Windows 7/8/10 preferred; CompTIA A+ preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL reference model.
• Experience with end-user IT support (Windows OS, PC hardware, antivirus tools, MS Office).
• Available for on-call rotation overnight and weekends; on-site travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across facilities.
• Install software and updates, configure system settings, and troubleshoot issues.
• Respond to service desk tickets, calls, and walk-ins; perform deskside support when needed.
• Travel between Empath Health facilities to deliver on-site support.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist with on-site functional tasks.

## Desktop Support SpecialistApply: Sarasota, FL: Full time: Posted Today: DESKT014700**Empath Health** is seeking a **Desktop Support Specialist** is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining desktop and mobile device systems for colleagues within their service area and as needed, across the organization. This position involves installing software and updates, configuring system settings, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The Desktop Support Administrator responds to incoming ticket requests, calls, and walk-in requests and when needed, travels to other sites to provide on-site, deskside support to the client. Or, an equivalent level of education and experience.* Microsoft Certification on Office Applications, Windows, 7, 8, and/or 10 strongly preferred.; CompTia A+ Certification strongly preferred.* Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reference model.* Experience with end-user IT support (e.g., Windows operating systems, PC hardware, antivirus tools. personal firewall tools, web browser, MS Office applications).* Must be available for and participate in on-call rotation overnight and weekends.* Ability to work on-site and travel between locations as needed.
