Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide desktop, laptop, and mobile device support across the organization. You will install software, configure settings, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues while responding to tickets, calls, and walk-ins.

The role may require travel between facilities to deliver on-site deskside support. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in end-user IT support and a related degree; certifications such as ITIL and A+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field with 3+ years of end-user IT support experience.
• Microsoft Certification on Office Applications, Windows 7/8/10 strongly preferred.
• CompTia A+ Certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL reference model.
• On-call rotation availability.

Empath Health is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining desktop and mobile device systems for colleagues within their service area and as needed, across the organization. This position involves installing software and updates, configuring system settings, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The Desktop Support Administrator responds to incoming ticket requests, calls, and walk-in requests and when needed, travels to other sites to provide on-site, deskside support to the client.
