Job summary

Inceed is partnering with a Houston-based company to hire a Lead Desktop Support Specialist. This hands-on IT role delivers day-to-day desktop services, troubleshoots hardware, software, and applications, and supports new hires, moves, and terminations.

You will contribute to process improvements and device management while preparing to grow into a leadership position. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of corporate IT experience, excels in Windows 10/11, and communicates clearly across levels.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional IT experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Familiarity with Android, iOS, and printer support.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Professional approach to teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support for users across all levels of the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and application issues.
• Support new hires, employee moves, and terminations.
• Manage printer support, toner replacement, and service requests.
• Assist with IT inventory tracking and periodic audits.
• Support projects that improve desktop operations and service delivery.
• Deliver responsive support both remotely and onsite.
• Follow escalation paths and maintain awareness of service level expectations.
