Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking an IT Desktop Support Engineer in Boise, Idaho, to provide on-site and on-call support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. The role includes incident response, OS/software maintenance, and asset documentation, ensuring efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
2+ years in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
Proficient with Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device support.
Respond to requests via ticketing system, phone, or in person.
Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
Set up new employee workstations, accounts, and permissions.
Maintain asset inventory and IT documentation.
Support remote users with VPN, RDP, connectivity.
Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues.
Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus and patching.
