Job summary

LincolnIT is seeking an Onsite Service Desk Engineer to provide dedicated support at a client facility in the New York City area. You will serve as the primary onsite resource for end-user IT support, with collaboration across LincolnIT’s Service Desk, Engineering, Security, and Project teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of desktop support experience, strong Windows, M365, and AD/Entra ID skills, and a customer-focused approach. MSP experience and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Help Desk or Desktop Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID and basic networking.
• Experience in a ticket-based support environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support for desktops, laptops, docking stations, printers, conference rooms, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common business software.
• Resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and user access issues.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning and device deployment.
• Assist users with password resets, MFA enrollment, and application access requests.
