Job summary

HCLTech in Fort Washington, MD is seeking a hands-on IT support professional to set up and configure laptops/desktops for end users, perform hardware checks, and manage deployments and returns. You will maintain accurate asset status and contribute to Knowledge Base documentation.

You will handle shipping/receiving, redeployment or decommission activities, and multitask between setup and return of equipment daily.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of computer support experience.
• Knowledge of computer imaging.
• Experience with asset management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setup and configure laptops/desktops for end users.
• Hardware check, cleanliness, functioning computer, redeployment or update to decommission.
• Shipping/receiving, managing deployments and returns of equipment.
• Asset management, maintaining accurate status of equipment availability.
• Documentation, create and maintain process documentation for our Knowledge Base.
• Multitask between setup of laptops and then return of equipment on a daily basis.
