Job summary

Zohorecruit in New York City is seeking a desktop support specialist to provide general hardware and software support across offices, both in person and remotely. The role handles Active Directory accounts, patching, and end-user assistance across the US offices, including Bloomberg terminal support and trading tooling.

You will maintain hardware lifecycle processes, support remote access (RDP, VPN), and assist with server patching.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a Desktop Support or Help Desk role.
• Hands-on Active Directory user and group administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with PowerShell for troubleshooting and automation; scripting is a plus.
• Familiarity with hardware lifecycle tasks: imaging, deployment, asset tagging, and decommissioning.
• Comfort with remote access technologies (RDP, VPN) and remote troubleshooting.
• Basic networking literacy and security awareness; regulated environments a plus.
• Experience with Bloomberg terminal support is a plus; any related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Account and access administration: manage AD accounts, groups, and MFA enrollment.
• Desktop and application support: troubleshoot Windows/365 apps, install business apps, support users on site and remotely.
• Endpoint management and patching: patch workstations and assist with server patching.
• Remote access support: provision and troubleshoot RDP and VPN access.
• Specialized platform support: Bloomberg terminals and trading-floor tooling.
• Backup and recovery assistance and routine restores.
• Hardware, workspace, and asset management: deploy/decommission workstations, track inventory.
• Ticket ownership: resolve requests in the service queue and document work.
