Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an IT Help Desk professional (Contract) in Westfield Center, OH. The role focuses on laptop refreshes (about 1000/year) with heavy automation (SCCM) and a smaller portion on support tickets, troubleshooting, and software installs.

You will work in a hybrid environment with an emphasis on customer-facing service and teamwork. Level 2 with roughly 2–4 years of experience is expected; strong personality and communication skills are highly valued to fit with the team and end users.

Qualifications

• Top technical skills include SCCM, Windows OS (M365), Citrix and Active Directory.
• Ability to review and follow documentation with strong communication.
• Some light scripting (PowerShell) is a plus.
• Internal customer facing role requiring good personality and drive.

Responsibilities

• 90% of work is Laptop Refresh, ~1000 laptops per year, with automation via SCCM.
• 10% is handling support tickets (break/fix and software installs) with troubleshooting.
• Customer facing duties and collaboration with IT team.
