Job summary
The AME Group is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Windows-based systems. This on-site role at client locations covers maintenance, user training, and on-call support, with a focus on cybersecurity and reliable IT operations.
Location is Evansville, IN, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with immediate availability. Candidates should have 3+ years of IT support experience and strong knowledge of Windows 11, Active
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support or similar technical role
- Experience with Windows Server environments and Office 365 administration
- Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to support end users
Responsibilities
- Act as focal point for on-site IT issues and provide updates
- Diagnose and repair Windows desktops, laptops, and servers
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and health checks
- Manage printers, devices, and network connectivity issues
- Respond to tickets with timely resolutions and document solutions
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users and devices
- Provide on-site PBX and telecommunication system support
- Support cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection
