Job summary

Long View Systems is seeking a Desk-side Support Consultant in our Houston branch to provide end-user assistance on software, hardware and computing platforms with a focus on customer service and professional, courteous support.

You will troubleshoot diverse issues, install applications and peripherals, and monitor desktop infrastructure to improve efficiency across a dynamic IT environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience in deskside/support environments.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Experience supporting a Microsoft environment in deskside role.

Responsibilities

• Assist end users with questions about software and computing platforms.
• Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.
• Monitor desktop infrastructure and device plans for efficiency.
• Install applications and computer peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in various environments.
• Test alternative pathways until issues are resolved.
• Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.
