Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Point Loma. You will provide direct desk-side support, troubleshoot and repair IT devices, and ensure customer SLAs are met across distributed locations.

The role requires US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Expect 24/7 operations with potential overtime and weekend shifts in a dynamic Field Services team.

Qualifications

• US citizen and DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification required.
• Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup to the Site Operations Lead.
• Oversee compliance standards across multiple distributed site locations and SLAs.
• Audit HPSM ticket queues to ensure site-wide SLA adherence.
• Serve as primary escalation point for critical security events.
• Provide peer-to-peer technical coaching and procedural mentorship.
