Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Washington, DC is seeking an on-site IT Site Support/AV specialist to deliver hardware, software and network assistance, manage assets, and refresh computers to keep systems running smoothly.

You will install and troubleshoot printers and conferencing systems, support live events, and collaborate with senior technicians while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience and/or technical certifications in IT or AV.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system and IT support in office environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of audio/video equipment and their functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Freshers with technical education and at least 1 year experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage asset inventory, update records, and maintain IT equipment.
• Image and refresh computers and devices to keep them current.
• Troubleshoot printer, software, and network problems.
• Set up and maintain audio/visual equipment and video conferencing systems.
• Support live events by operating AV systems.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve issues and improve processes.
