Job summary

HCLTech in the United States is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to resolve incidents, install new hardware, upgrade software, and support customers on Windows 10/11 and Office 365. You will perform PC refreshes, move devices, and document requests in the SNOW ITSM system while providing VIP support.

Responsibilities include inventory management, printer installation, and escalations as needed, collaborating with engineers and managers to ensure timely resolutions and professional service

Qualifications

• Experience as Desktop Support Engineer or Field Services Support
• Proficient with Windows 10/11
• Familiar with SNOW ITSM tool
• Printer installation and basic networking

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and upgrade software/hardware for customers
• Install new hardware and peripherals (monitors, docking stations, keyboards)
• Handle PC refreshes, new hire installs, moves, retirement and device pickup
• Record and document requests using SNOW ITSM
• Provide VIP and general desktop support, including printers
• Stock room and inventory management
• Escalate issues to next support level and create technical documentation
