Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer II to join its design team in Columbus. You will perform a variety of assignments applying standard design techniques on small and large projects, operating under the supervision of a licensed interior designer.

The role emphasizes AutoCAD and Revit support, graphics development, space planning concepts, and collaboration with consultants, clients and vendors to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit used for project documents.

Responsibilities

• Support AutoCAD and Revit for project document preparation.
• Produce graphics through 3D renderings and illustrated visuals.
• Create finish plans, specs, and material selections.
• Assist in submittals during construction administration.
• Develop space planning concepts and program docs.
• Collaborate with design lead in meetings with consultants and vendors.
• Communicate with clients and project partners to meet objectives.
• Develop design solutions that meet client needs on time and budget.
• Prepare presentation graphics and mood boards for client reviews.
• Participate in design concept presentations and detailing.
• Develop clear, comprehensive drawing sets and coordination with MEP.
