Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer II to join our design-forward team. You will support project documents with AutoCAD and Revit, produce 3D renderings, and help create finish plans and material selections under the guidance of a licensed interior designer.

You will collaborate with consultants, furniture reps, and fabricators to meet project objectives and communicate designs to clients, contributing to spaces that balance vision, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Ability to navigate and interpret Revit models and project documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create complete presentation packages under supervision.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide AutoCAD and Revit support for project documents.
• Produce graphics via 3D renderings and illustrations.
• Create finish plans, specs, and material selections.
• Coordinate submittals during construction administration.
• Assist in space planning concepts and program documents.
• Support design leads in meetings with consultants and vendors.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and team members.
• Develop design solutions that meet client needs on time and budget.
• Create graphic formatting and mood boards for client presentations.
• Participate in presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Develop high-quality drawings and documentation sets.
• Perform basic coordination with MEP systems.
