Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor in Woodbridge, VA to train and lead the design team while driving sales.

You will guide customers through a comprehensive design process, advise on tile, wood, stone, and accessories, and ensure exceptional service. The role requires design education or equivalent interior design experience, plus leadership experience, and familiarity with design software.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers
• Hire and develop a design team and conduct performance evaluations
• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for projects
• Design and sell complete, functional and attractive design solutions
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation
• Support company initiatives and maintain design center standards
• Keep up with current design trends and utilize design applications
