Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the design center in our Manassas store. You will guide a design team, greet customers, manage appointments, and provide expert advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.

This role requires a design degree or equivalent experience, 3-5 years of leadership, and strong communication. You will collaborate with store leadership to drive sales and uphold our design standards and trends.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design)
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency
• Internal candidates must have 12 months of Sr. designer/ADM experience

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a design team; conduct evaluations.
• Greet customers and support design needs.
• Schedule design appointments and cultivate clientele.
• Advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories.
• Design and sell complete design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage projects end-to-end.
• Engage in local professional affiliations.
• Maintain store design center and visuals.
