Exelon Corporation is seeking a senior design lead to supervise designers and coordinate the engineering design for transmission and substation projects across the service area. You will ensure compliance with design standards, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in design practices while mentoring staff.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, reliability, and collaboration with engineering work management to optimize construction output.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years design experience in the Utility industry or equivalent external experience.
• 2–3 years internal supervisory experience or equivalent rating.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Broad knowledge of policies, objectives and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to diverse disciplines to achieve safety, reliability and performance goals.
• Balance operations and policy with tactical planning and make design decisions with broad impact.
• Manage design activity, budgets and contractor interfaces to ensure timely delivery.
