Job summary

Exelon is hiring a seasoned engineer to lead complex transmission projects, mentor junior staff, and shape asset strategies for overhead transmission lines and related infrastructure. You will support risk-informed maintenance planning and reliability improvements in collaboration with AMEs and field teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to develop cost-benefit analyses, while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge and ability to apply problem-solving approaches.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of complex field test equipment.
• Broad knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices for a specific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assignments for critical projects or multiple complex features.
• Evaluate, develop and implement projects with significant financial and operational impact.
• Lead design/maintenance reviews and coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop cost-benefit evaluations and project documentation.
