Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor to train and develop the design team while driving in-store sales through contemporary residential projects.

You will greet customers, provide expert tile, wood, stone and accessory advice, and manage multiple client projects from inquiry to installation. You will lead a dynamic design staff, conduct performance evaluations, maintain appointment calendars, and partner with store leadership to meet sales goals while upholding Floor &

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of education.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a design team; conduct performance evaluations.
• Greet customers and support design walk-ins.
• Maintain master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments.
• Provide advice on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects from inquiry to installation with accurate communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to meet sales and design goals.
• Engage in local professional affiliations like ASID or NKBA.
