Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design team and drive sales through expert design services. You will guide customer experiences, manage appointments, and provide expert guidance on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for both residential and commercial projects.

You will oversee multiple projects, mentor designers, and collaborate with store leadership to achieve sales and service goals while staying current with design trends.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a design team and conduct performance evaluations.
• Greet customers and support design walk-ins and appointments.
• Maintain the master store design appointment calendar and schedule appointments.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with high accuracy, timeliness and follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Engage in current design trends and utilize design applications.
• Participate in local professional affiliations (ASID, NKBA).
