Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Mooresville, NC seeks a Design Supervisor to lead the design team, train staff, and drive design sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will hire and develop designers, greet customers, manage design appointments, advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories, and coordinate projects from inquiry to installation. The role requires interior design education or 6 years of experience and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education.
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a dynamic and motivated design team, including performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support design walk-in needs.
• Maintain master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple user projects through all phases with high accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales goals.
