Job summary

Living Spaces in Pflugerville, TX, is seeking a design-focused sales professional to engage in-store guests and apply our Guest Engagement Model. You will analyze design requests, provide product recommendations, and present customized room designs while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of merchandise.

Responsibilities include processing transactions at the POS, completing training, supporting the store team, and contributing to revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in interior design or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in customer service, retail, or furniture.
• Vocational certificate or degree in interior design.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests using the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests' goals and requirements for their design projects.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs, including sample fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories.
• Maintains current knowledge of merchandise lines; product features, benefits and availability.
• Master product knowledge and brand design inspiration.
• Processes customer transactions in the Point of Sale system.
• Completes required training in the expected timeframe, and participates in ongoing learning opportunities.
• Actively support and contribute to the store team with the goal of helping the entire team delight guests and achieve revenue targets.
