Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking an Interior Design Sales Specialist to assist in-store guests with a design-focused selling approach. You will service design appointments and provide product recommendations while maintaining knowledge of merchandise and design inspiration.

The role requires a design education and 1–2 years in retail or furniture sales. Weekend and holiday shifts are typical in a fast-paced environment with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Associate degree in interior design or equivalent.
1–2 years customer service/retail/furniture experience.
Experience with guest engagement and design advice is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage guests and apply sales techniques.
Determine guests’ goals and requirements for their design project.
Provide design advice, product knowledge and recommendations.
Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables and accessories.
Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines and features.
Process customer transactions in the POS system.
