Job summary

West Elm in the United States is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers to express themselves at home and to close sales at the cash wrap. You will promote ongoing engagement with the Brand and coordinate design plans aligned with client preferences and living spaces.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders across sales channels.
• Experience with design elements is preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Perform in-home consultations including measuring and assessing living spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Provide world-class service including gift wrap, registry, orders, and deliveries; demonstrate product knowledge.
