Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Oregon is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design team and drive sales through design services. You will ensure customers have a positive experience by delivering exceptional design consultations and service.

The role requires leadership experience, interior design proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining design standards and customer focus.

Qualifications

• BA or AA in Interior Design or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a Sr. designer position, ADM role, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a dynamic design team with performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Maintain master design appointment calendar and schedule appointments; develop clientele.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects through all phases with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Support company initiatives by coaching best practices with staff.
• Maintain Design Center and visual standards.
