Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead and develop the design team while driving sales through design services. You will guide customer interactions to ensure a positive experience and deliver high-quality design solutions for residential and commercial projects.

The role requires leadership experience, design expertise, and proficiency with design tools and scheduling platforms. This position is based in Orlando, FL with limited travel and active participation in professional

Qualifications

Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of education.
3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers.
Hire and develop a dynamic design team, including performance evaluations.
Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
Maintain master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments.
Providing tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for projects.
Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy, timeliness and follow-up.
Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
Support company initiatives by modeling best practices with staff.
Responsible for Design Center maintenance and visual standards.
Engage in current and emerging design trends; utilize design applications (Salesforce, Online Design Scheduler, MyProject, James Martin, HousPro).
Participate in local professional affiliation like ASID, NKBA.
