Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design team, train staff, and drive sales through exceptional design services. The role emphasizes building client relationships, mentoring designers, and delivering complete design solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of education.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a design team with evaluations.
• Greet customers and support design walk-ins.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through referrals and leads.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional design solutions.
• Manage multiple client projects with accuracy and timely communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
