Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Supervisor in Roswell, GA to train and develop the design team while driving in-store sales through design services. You will greet customers, schedule appointments, and provide expert advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, client relationship building, and coordinating projects from inquiry to installation with the store team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a design team in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and sales acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers in the industry.
• Hire and develop a dynamic and motivated design team, including performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support store design walk-in needs.
• Maintain master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and follow-up including consistent and concise communication to customers and others.
