Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor to train and develop the design team and drive store sales through design services. You will ensure customers receive exceptional service by offering informed design advice and coordinating design appointments.

The role emphasizes managing a design team, mentoring staff, and collaborating with store leadership to achieve sales goals while staying current with design trends and technology tools.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of degree.
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a dynamic and motivated design team and conduct performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Manage master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects through all phases with accuracy, timeliness and follow-up.
