Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor in Gainesville, FL to lead and develop the design team while driving sales through design services.

You will greet customers, provide tile, wood, stone and accessory guidance, schedule appointments, and manage multiple projects from inquiry to installation, ensuring a high standard of customer service and strong collaboration with store leadership.

Qualifications

• Design degree or 6+ years interior design experience
• 3–5 years of leadership or management experience
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers
• Hire and develop a design team and conduct performance evaluations
• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions
• Manage multiple projects through all phases with timely communication
