Skelton's Carpet One in Lewiston, ID is seeking a Design Sales Consultant who loves designing spaces and building relationships. The role offers an hourly rate of $24 plus commission, with potential earnings of $80K-$100K annually.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, plus seasonal Saturday hours. You'll help customers define design needs, schedule consultations, and stay current on product offerings while leveraging laptops and mobile support provided by the

Qualifications

• 2+ years' proven work experience in Furniture Sales, Interior Design, Home Décor Sales, Kitchen & Bath Sales, Window Treatment Sales, or similar role.
• Valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
• Ability to pass a background check (REQUIRED)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & CRM platforms
• Knowledge of RFMS is a plus but not required - willing to train

Responsibilities

• Determine overall flooring, window treatments & design needs while offering great customer experiences
• Build genuine relationships with new/existing customers
• Schedule appointments for client design consultations
• Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
• Measure spaces for flooring and/or window treatments; estimate materials, present proposals, manage payments & oversee project quality
• Keep the installation team on track by sharing clear notes & photos
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications & availability
• Utilize social media to create networking groups & prospect for new business
• Keep the showroom clean, organized & on trend

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years' proven work experience in Furniture Sales, Interior Design, Home Décor Sales, Kitchen & Bath Sales, Window Treatment Sales, or similar role
• Valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
• Ability to pass a background check (REQUIRED)
