Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Design Operations Manager, Vice President, within Digital to plan and manage day-to-day workflow and reporting for digital design programs. You will align resources with strategic priorities, strengthen governance, and increase delivery transparency, while promoting AI-enabled improvement across teams.

You will collaborate with design leads, product, technology, and finance/business management to scale best practices, manage risks, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management or design operations with digital UX design teams.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle at scale; fluent in Agile and Waterfall delivery.
• Proficient with delivery/ops tooling (e.g., Atlassian/Jira, Monday.com) and using it to drive workflow transparency and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills: synthesize delivery status into clear narratives and dashboards with rigor and discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to build plans, prioritize work, and drive execution across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a digital product portfolio, prioritizing requests by customer impact and business value.
• Define scope, ownership, outcomes/constraints, and readiness before work begins.
• Lead cross-team dependency management; remove blockers and provide clear options.
• Maintain portfolio visibility and enable timely tradeoffs with design and cross-functional leaders.
• Translate demand into capacity and resourcing plans; verify deliverables and handoffs are defined.
• Guide end-to-end execution with Design Leads, Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Scrum Masters.
• Plan design work (size, scope, sequence) and ensure requirements are understood.
• Track project delivery and report milestones, status, decisions, and risks.
• Leverage AI/tools to improve rhythms, ceremonies, and reduce rework.
• Uphold standards and drive continuous process improvements for craft and design output.
• Develop reusable SOPs, templates, and playbooks to sustain team health.
