Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in the United States seeks a Manager, Project Designer to act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, implement workplace strategy, and lead design associates through project delivery.

The role requires a degree in Architecture or Interior Design and 5–8 years’ experience, with AutoCAD and Revit proficiency. You will develop space plans, coordinate with CRE teams, and ensure code compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Holds Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution (NCIDQ a plus)
• 5-8 years’ work experience in two or more of: interior design, architecture or space planning
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD proficiency required (REVIT a plus)
• Proficient in CAFM software such as Serraview, Manhattan, Center Stone, Planon, Archibus, etc
• Proficient in programming and space planning for varying space sizes
• Ability to read and review construction documents
• Knowledge of programming codes, procedures, documentation, and project systems organization
• Excellent organization and documentation experience
• Strong problem solving, deadlines, and integrity

Responsibilities

• Serves as main point of contact for account
• Implements process documents that align with workplace strategy and client business needs
• Delivers client workplace model standards; recommends new standards and improvements
• Creates test fits and suggests workplace improvements
• Proposes space efficiencies while aligning with corporate real estate goals
• Collaborates with CRE team members
• Interfaces with Client to develop workplace options and final documents
• Organizes data analytics and space solutions for client presentations
• Ensures space plans meet health, safety, and code requirements
• Maintains organized project file system
• Administers MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes)
• Provides progress and completion reports
• Determines colors, materials, finishes to meet concepts
• Selects furniture and finishes for procurement and installation
• Maintains CAFM data for space allocation plans
• Trains and develops design talent on accounts
• Directs concurrent projects with clear instruction
• Builds relationships with internal/external partners
• Assumes ownership to ensure completion
• Demonstrates attention to detail and quality
• Learns new graphic software for presentations
• Demonstrates knowledge of office furniture systems
• Solves practical problems and adapts to varied variables
• Demonstrates proficiency in drawings, concepts & design
